The flashing 2010 is the first year of developing Chinese low carbon economy. It was further explicitly proposed in the fifth Party Plenum of the 17th CPC Central Committee that China need to establish the ideal of developing green and low carbon economy, focus on the energy-saving and emission reduction, perfect encouraging and restraining mechanism, accelerate the construction of the resources-saving and environment-friendly production & consumption mode, and control the emission of greenhouse gas effectively. It has been the important strategic choice for China to develop economy and society that promoting low carbon economy facilitates the adjustment of economic structure in order to finally realize the sustainable economic and social development
This forum is under the theme of Low Carbon Economy Development and Urban Economy Transition with main contents of keynote speech, parallel sessions, panels, projects negotiation and connection, social cocktail, visiting Low Carbon companies and parks.
