China Low Carbon Economy Forum 2010 (Forum for short) is hosted by China Association of Science And Technology Industry Parks, Financial Times, China Environmental News, World Alliance for Decentralized Energy, Taiwan Emission Trading Association, FTChinese, Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg, and PR Newswire Asia and etc., and will be held grandly in Diaoyutai State Guesthouse, Beijing in April 10th and 11th, 2010.
Countries all over the world are conducting development in the post financial crisis era. Low Carbon economy has been an inexorable trend and important solution to deal with the global financial crisis and realizing green recovery while climate is changing severely. In August 2009, Resolution of the Standing Committee of the National People¨s Congress on Making Active Responses to Climate Change is approved, which indicates that Chinese government will further incorporate the action responding to climate change into the plan of social and economic development and continue to take stronger and harsher measures to develop green Low Carbon economy and recycle economy, industriously propelling the transformation into Low Carbon economy. China is going to have more opportunities brought by green development in 2010.
This forum is under the theme of `Low Carbon City, Low Carbon Industry and Low Carbon Finance¨ with main contents of keynote speech, seminars, panels, projection negotiation and connection, social cocktail, visiting Low Carbon companies and parks. This forum aims to research and forecast the development trend for Chinese and global Low Carbon cities and Low Carbon economy, to set up a platform for Low Carbon industry to be more effectively connected with financial capital, to share thoughts and experiences of international masters and entrepreneurs in Low Carbon industry, and to seize important investment opportunities in Low Carbon industry and Low Carbon gardens.
